Fidesco volunteer back from mission on March 2016English teacher and life skill trainer at Pattaya

In the beginning of my mission I was working at St. Joseph Mae Chaem School, a Catholic boarding school whose 460 students are from surrounding hill tribes. The school was in the village of Din Kow. The people there are Karen, a group from Myanmar. I teached English alongside my co-volunteer, Johanna.

In September I moved to Pattaya, a big city in the coast (unfortunately famous for the prostitution) for my final mission. I am still an English teacher (so my first experience in Din Kow came to be very useful), but for the girls who want to stop prostitution.
